About Jillian Evelyn
Through contorting the female figure with graphic shapes and a limited color palette, Jillian Evelyn’s work explores the struggle of womanhood and the anxiety that arises from contemporary societal expectations. After having lived in Los Angeles for several years, she moved back to her beloved Detroit, where she studied and found her first love for visual expression which eventually turned her onto the path of becoming a full time painter.
