Spotlight: Japan
Japan is a place where ancient temples stand quietly beside neon-lit skyscrapers, and cherry blossoms fall over bullet trains racing through the countryside. Life here moves with graceful precision, blending deep-rooted traditions like tea ceremonies and calligraphy with cutting-edge technology and design. Unlike much of the world, Japan carries a unique harmony between nature and culture—seen in everything from Zen gardens to seasonal festivals. Its heritage is rich with samurai, Shinto shrines, and timeless arts, yet it constantly reinvents itself with quiet innovation. In Japan, the old and the new don’t compete—they coexist, in balance and beauty.
Our spotlight on Japan allows you to find a series of artworks and limited edition silkscreen prints inspired by the country. Japan has been the destination of a numerous trips with The Jaunt, and below you can find a selection of prints inspired by the beautiful country.

His signature style is characterized by a strong sense of composition, a striking colour palette and an acute awareness of the power of negative space.
